27sts x 37 rows = 10 x 10 cm made to fit child’s size 18″.
Cast on 132 stitches on 2.5 mm circular needles. Work in the round 8 rows 1×1 ribbing (k1 p1). Work following chart until the hat measures 16cm in height.
For the ears cast on 8 sts, work by adding 3 stitches on both sides in every 2nd row until there’s 14 sts on the needle. Work 6 rows straight. Decrease 3 times 1 stitch in every 4th row until there’s 8 sts left. Bind off. You can also crochet the ears using the same number of stitches.
Antlers are made using a 2.5 mm crochet hook. Chain two, in the second row, do 3 SC into each stitch, 6sts.; 2 SC into each stitch, 12sts; 2 SC in each 4th stitch, 15sts. 4 SC, skip one stitch, 12sts. 2SC skip one, 8sts. Attach the horns to the hat.
